Baylor Faith and Service Research

Baylor University's Institue for Studies of Religion has partnered with the Sagamore Insitute to create the Program on Faith and Generosity. This program has two aspects: first, to assess the role of faith in motivating generosity. Second, to evaluate the results of faith-based generosity in terms of how well recipient groups and programs achieve their goals. Together, these two facets aim to discover how faith influences service and giving, and using that inforamation, find more effective methods for motivating generosity.

Sagamore's Jay Hein and Amy Sherman co-direct the Program on Faith and Generosity. To learn more about the Faith and Generosity program, visit the Baylor ISR website
