Indiana Meets China

Wednesday, September 08, 2010, 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM

This past June, Indiana’s Lieutenant Governor Becky Skillman led an agricultural trade mission to China to explore unique trade opportunities that exist between the two regions. On Wednesday, September 8th, Sagamore Institute hosted Lt. Governor Skillman who spoke to a group of Indiana mayors about her trip and inspire them with ways they can form trade relationships with “sister” Chinese cities.

She was joined by Will Weaver, president of Weaver Popcorn Company, who shared about a trade deal he recently made with a Chinese theater company to provide popcorn to 300 of their theaters.
