Websites Provide More Information. It may not seem possible, but the Web has even more information about Abraham Lincoln than all of the articles and all of the books written about him. Parents, teachers, and students interested in the Hoosier Lincoln have two excellent places to start: the Indiana Department of Education’s Lincoln Resources and the teaching and learning resources about Lincoln's Boyhood in Indiana assembled by the Indiana Humanities Council. Even though building renovation makes it impossible to visit the Indiana Historical Society’s collections, you can view the next best thing with Lincoln Digital Images Collection at the Indiana Historical Society.  

Historic Sites Offer Opportunities to Explore Lincoln's World.  Other excellent resources include a variety of historic sites that are easily accessible in the Midwest:
