The Sagamore Institute has been working in Africa since it was  founded in 2004. Once a continent seemingly dependent on aid, it has become one of the fastest growing economic regions in the world.

By encouraging empowered economies rather than governmental dependency, Africans in the 21st century are able to end generational cycles of aid dependency. That’s why we promote enterprise creation and agricultural development. We believe Africa is rising and that they will become contributors to the world’s economy and well-being.
