JoAnna-2.jpegDr. JoAnna Brown is a senior fellow at Sagamore Institute specializing in research aimed at building better urban, rural, and suburban communities.  Her recent research projects include increasing educational attainment by low-income children in Sagamore’s Mid-North Indianapolis neighborhood, the impact of mothers’ mobility on their children’s education, the challenges and opportunities facing blighted urban housing, a comprehensive analysis of the state’s compassion-related nonprofits, and a statewide analysis of economic development innovations in rural Indiana.
