James White

Senior Fellow

James White is a speaker, historian, teacher, spiritual leader and consultant with decades of experience serving multi-generations of leaders. He has served various organizations that influence communities, youth, sports and churches. He currently serves as the Executive Vice President of Organizational Relations for the YMCA of the Triangle as well as the founding  senior leader of Christ Our King Community Church in Raleigh North Carolina. James has recently become an adjunct professor at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary where he has lectured and taught a class on social justice and race. Over the course of 20 years, he served on staff with Cru and has been invited to speak to NFL teams and YMCA conferences across the country. In 2015 he was honored with the Emerging Multiethnic Leaders Passion to Performance Award. His article “One Country, One Race” was published in Sagamore’s American Outlook magazine in 2002. James and his wife Cynthia have three grown children and reside in Cary, North Carolina.
