In 2012, while still at Taylor University, Patrick started Sells Group (SG) in the basement of his parents’ home. Today, SG is one of the largest marketing agencies in Indiana and is headquartered in Indianapolis. The mission of the company is to Help Great Companies Grow Great Customers. It’s through this lense Sells Group has differentiated themselves as a finance-first marketing agency. The Sells Group’s focus is on understanding the target cost of acquiring leads and reverse engineering a marketing and technology strategy from there. This approach has helped Sells Group grow both themselves and their clients tremendously. SG is very active in the community and has a strong partnership with the Indiana Pacers through the Sells Group Lofts. Outside of Sells Group Patrick spends time as a venture capitalist in the marketing and technology industry. He serves as an advisor to Hyde Park Venture Partners, headquartered in Chicago, and runs a boutique alternative investment fund called Sells Group Investments. Hyde Park Venture Partners is ranked as a top 3% venture fund nationwide and has raised over $100,000,000 so far. Since 2013, Patrick has also served as the CEO of the Super Service Challenge (SSC), a national nonprofit that focuses on helping companies do serving and giving better. Drew Brees is the national spokesperson and partner. Together they have helped give away over $25,000,000. The SSC was featured by the White House in 2015 as a leader in the corporate social responsibility space.
